Sérgio Ferreira holds master’s degrees in biochemistry and in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the University of Porto and has published peer-reviewed research on how acupuncture affects nerve conduction.
He trained in the lineages of Richard Tan and Master Tung, under Palden Carson, Young Wei Chieh and Chuan-Min Wang, and has taught distal needling in Europe and the UK for many years. His nine-day certification The Architecture of Distal Mastery integrates Master Tung acupuncture, the Balance Method and clinical bloodletting.
