About the course

Scalp acupuncture based on the map of the cortex

Jiao style scalp acupuncture places its stimulation zones according to the somatotopic organisation of the cerebral cortex. It is widely used in hospitals and rehabilitation centres in China and often brings rapid changes in motor, sensory, speech and balance function.

You learn to locate and needle the main motor, sensory, balance, speech and vision areas, apply manual and electro-stimulation, and build protocols for stroke rehabilitation, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, ataxia, neuropathy, brain injury, vertigo, aphasia and neuropathic pain. A course manual and certificate are included.
